For his long and distinguished career, David Martin Godosky, of Godosky & Gentile, P.C. has been honored this year with an induction into the International Academy of Trial Lawyers. Mr. Godosky was admitted to the New York bar in 1993 and served as both a judge and prosecutor during his 20+ years in the legal field.
As the lead trial attorney at Godosky & Gentile, P.C., David has made a name for himself defending victims of civil rights violations and police misconduct, most notably in Sims v. The city of New York, which was recognized by the National Law Journal as a “Top Ten” verdict in New York State.
For more than 60 years, the International Academy of Trial Lawyers has been an organization dedicated to recognizing the finest prosecutors and defense attorneys in the world and has members representing over 30 countries. The Academy reserves its fellowship to just 500, honoring only those who have forged exemplary careers in the pursuit of justice and demonstrated exceptional skill in appellate practice, court trials and jury trials.
