If you fall, it can lead to a head injury. After a fall where your head strikes the ground, furniture or any other solid object, it is crucial to visit with a doctor. How do you know if you have a concussion following a slip and fall?

What causes a concussion?

If you suffer a violent force to your head or upper body, such as a fall, then your brain may slide back and forth against your skull. The injury your brain suffers can affect its function. A concussion can range from mild to severe. Some symptoms may develop right away whereas others may wait. In some cases, you may even have bleeding in your brain.
